241st Diocesan Convention

The 241st annual convention of the Diocese of New Jersey was held on November 23, 2024, at 9:00 am, both online and in person at Trinity Cathedral in Trenton. Registration opened at 7:30 am. This web page shall serve as the repository of information and documents related to the convention and will be periodically updated.

Convention Information

Diocesan Convention is a time when representatives around our diocese gather to share in the polity of the Church, upholding the common mission and ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ. All are welcomed at each annual convention to join us as we worship, conduct business, view and listen to presentations.

Lay Deputies Certification

Parishes fill out and submit the form in the sidebar to certify their lay delegation and alternates to the Convention.

Registration Information

Attendees will be able to take part online or attend in-person. The site for in-person attendance will be Trinity Cathedral in Trenton. We will accommodate seating for voting members first. Plans are subject to change based on Covid-19 guidelines and community impact.

Voting will be performed electronically.

Attendees must bring their own devices for voting needs—iPads, phones, laptops, etc.

Note: Voting members refers to canonical clergy and elected/certified lay deputies eligible to vote. Non-voting participants refers to licensed clergy, alternates, and guests.

Non-voting members and guests may join the livestream on YouTube using a link made available closer to the date.

Remember

  1. Attendees must bring their own devices for voting needs—iPads, phones, laptops, etc.
  2. Registration is required for those attending in person and for voting members attending online. Registration fee is $25.
  3. Non-voting members and guests viewing online do not need to register.

The Trinity Cathedral Altar Guild Store will be open during Convention. You can order online now for pick up on the day of Convention. Check out their online store here.
